Michael serves as an Area Rep at the University of Richmond. He has been working with college students for over a decade and is very excited to be serving the coaches and athletes there. Most especially, Michael is passionate about cultivating a biblically-based community of discipleship and rich relationships among the coaches and athletes at the university.
As a Houston native (Go Rockets!), Michael attended the University of Houston, studying English Lit. for his bachelor’s. In the process of this degree, however, Michael felt a call to ministry which led him first to Beeson Divinity School (M. Div.) and then to Union Presbyterian (Th. M.). Throughout all these studies, Michael continued to develop a love for God’s Word and his people.
While in seminary, Michael met his wife, Tori. She is just as passionate about serving the Lord and his people – but is way more fun. The two serve together on the ministry staff at Church of the Incarnation Anglican in Richmond, where Michael assists with preaching and teaching and Tori leads the women and helps with youth.
