Wherever I have gone and whatever I have done in life, FCA has played a huge role. In middle and high school and in college, I was involved in huddles and camps with my teammates. I have led worship and served in key volunteer positions as I became an adult.
Through the years, FCA has been deeply personal for me.
I am the wife of a coach. Heath and I have been married many years. He was the wrestling coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and now is helping guide youth wrestlers with the Midlothian Miners.
I am the mother of athletes. Our oldest, Brookelyn, is playing volleyball at Missouri State. Our twins, Madelyn and Keelyn, play volleyball and soccer, respectively, at Midlothian High School. And our youngest, Carson, competes in wrestling, football, and anything else that catches his eye.
Our family moved to Chesterfield County in 2021, and FCA and I found each other once again – this time, offering the chance for me to work as an Area Director to serve the hundreds of coaches and thousands of athletes in our community.
I want to be part of living out the vision of FCA: To see the world, and specifically this community, transformed by Jesus Christ. Increasingly, we live in a world where kids are disconnected and searching for meaning, and coaches are exhausted and leaving the profession. I am confident FCA can help breathe life into Chesterfield County.
I want to invite you to join me and the Capital Virginia area FCA team as we seek to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
